Hi there! Bonjour, Buenos Dias, Ni hao,  Namaste and Good moooooorning!!...Did you miss me?... I know I missed you 😍
Anyway , it has been a while since our last Bloggerview but we break that hiatus today with this spectacular peek into the life of Ms Ama Pomaa, author of A Time to Part. Do dive in and please don't forget to let us hear your thoughts in the comments section.
Happy reading! πŸ™Œ

Zindagi : Who is Ama Pomaa?

Ama : Ama Pomaa is a twenty-something-year-old writer dabbling in the Christian-suspense genre. I’m
also a Field Engineer working in the power sector. When I’m not assigned, I spend time with my
family and try to put to paper the whisperings of the imaginary voices in my head.

Zindagi: What is your total philosophy about writing?

Ama:Writing is a form of art, and for me, an outlet for a lot of things that I feel deeply about. A
person reading my book or article will see, on the surface, made-up people in a made-up world.
But if they look deeper, they’ll find that there’s always a part of me — my beliefs, desires, fears
— interspersed with the words. I think it’s a beautiful thing to be able to do that.

Zindagi: You are a published author and your novel "A time to part " is immensely delightful!... How did
you come by the idea of the book and how does it feel to be a published author?

Ama:Thank you! I talk about my inspiration for the story in the book. It started with the true story of
a girl being abused by her father. Writing Jasmine’s story gave me a chance to share this very
prevalent issue with others and hopefully show that with God, healing is a possibility. It took six
years to finally get ‘A Time to Part’ out there, so I’d say I feel pretty great about that.

Zindagi : I understand you're an engineer?!... Great line of work by the way but I can't help but notice
that that field is greatly dominated by men... How does it feel like to be a woman working in that
field?

Ama:You’re right about the domination, but the gap is gradually being bridged. As to how it feels …
On one hand, there’s really no difference. You’re expected to do your job and gender isn’t a
factor. On the other hand, there are times you have to battle with prejudices from colleagues
and customers. But you know that coming in so your only option is to overlook them and get
the job done.

Zindagi: Ama ... You're a devoted Christian and you love to write about your faith on your blog... I
particularly enjoyed reading "Watch what you watch" and I'm sure others who have read it felt
same ... What's your advice to all of us believers out there on keeping our walk with God?

Ama: Thanks for visiting, Michael. I always try so hard to be a perfect Christian, and of course, I always
fail. In your walk with God, you should keep in mind that you’re a work in progress. Trust that
God will bring to a perfect finish what he has begun in you. And remember, in the end, he’s the
reason for everything we do.

Zindagi: General advice to young and upcoming writers like myself?

Ama: I’d like to believe that I also am a young and upcoming writer. To quote Stephen King
“If you want to be a writer, you must do two things above all others: read a lot and write a lot.”
Also, the biggest lesson I’ve learnt so far is that in the end, passion will drive you. Sales may go
down, good reviews may be far in between. But if you’re in it to stay because you just can’t not
write, eventually, you’ll see progress.

Zindagi: Where we can purchase some of your novels and comments on upcoming works?

Ama: You can get copies by contacting Walking Books or Ehanom Books. You can also get in touch
with me on Facebook or Twitter and I’ll make sure you get your copy. I’m presently working on a
suspense novella —a killer has the heroine in his cross hairs and she must find him before he
finds her. Hopefully, barring a severe case of writer’s block, I’ll have it done by end of year.

Zindagi: It is an incredible honour to have you here Ama. You're a veritably busy person and the fact that you took time out your busy schedule to answer our questions speaks volume of your amazing character and personality. Thanks like a billion timesπŸ˜„.
So there you have it folks, that was Ama Pomaa for this week's Bloggerview.  You can contact her on Facebook @ Ama Pomaa to get a copy/ copies of her book A Time To Part.
And remember," ...in the end, passion will drive you. Sales may go
down, good reviews may be far in between. But if you’re in it to stay because you just can’t not
write, eventually, you’ll see progress."
..Until next time, aurevoir, Sayanora and Goodbye😁✋
